A trip to the city - 大鄉里出城

Daddy and Mommy brought me to Manhattan on Saturday to see the Rockefeller tree and the lights. Even though we don't celebrate Christmas in our house (the origin of Christmas was related to pagan worship and was not in accordance with the bible. Christmas was NOT the birthday of Christ), we went because Daddy and Mommy wanted to give me some visual stimulation. The Rockefeller tree looks a little different this year because it uses LCD lights instead of the old light bulbs. It saves more energy but the tree is not as bright as before, especially in daylight. There were A LOT OF people but it was so much fun! I also got to see where Daddy and Mommy used to work.

星期六, 爹地媽咪帶我到曼克頓, 去看洛克菲勒中心的聖誕樹和燈飾. 雖然我家不慶祝聖誕節, (聖誕節起源於對太陽神的敬拜, 不是聖經的教導, 而耶穌基督也不是在這一天出生的), 但是爹地媽咪為了讓我看看不同的東西, 就算平日害怕到人多的地方, 也不惜不辭勞苦地把我帶去. 今年洛克菲勒中心的聖誕樹有點不同, 因為是用了特別的LCD電燈泡, 比以前的燈泡省電, 但好像就缺少了以往的明亮. 那裡遊人實在大多, 所以我們沒逗留多久便改往別的地方去. 爹地媽咪還帶我去看他們以前工作的地方呢!
