Thanksgiving and Prayer Requests

Bethany had a very bad eczema breakout this week. Many of you have prayed for her and we want to thank you for it. We thank God for listening to our prayers. Bethany has done a lot better from taking the medicine and putting on the creams that the doctor prescribed. Her skin is not as red as before and some of the spots start to fade away. She is able to sleep well at night again.

Through this ordeal, we learnt once again that God provides in ways that we do not know. Do you know that even before we started to pray, God had already answered and provided a way? Bethany's dermatologist is very good, so it's always hard to get an appointment with her because everyone wants to see her. Unlike pediatricians, she doesn't take emergency appointments (you know, most skin problems can wait, especially for adults). But for some reason, a few weeks ago, Kummy had the thought that she should make an appointment with the doctor just for regular checkup. But it turned out that this appointment couldn't be more timely in the middle of Bethany's bad breakdout. God has provided relief to her through the wisdom of the doctor and the medicine. It's amazing that the appointment was made before anyone had prayed!

Please continue to pray for Bethany. We will go back to see the doctor again in 2 weeks. Please pray that she will continue to do well and the medication will not have long-term effect on her.
